What is CCNAPI

CCNAPI or the Critical Care Nurses Association of the Philippines is the recognized national organization of nurses interested in the specialization of critical care nursing practice in the Philippines. CCNAPI was founded in February, 1977 To date it has over 3000 members.

Joining CCNAPI

The nurse who meets the following qualifications shall be eligible for membership: · Interested in critical care nursing · Subscribes to the purposes and goals of CCNAPI · Agrees to abide with the by-laws of the association.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

· Active Member : any member who resides in the Philippines with at least one year of experience in the critical care area shall be considered an active member. He shall be entitled to vote, hold office, serve on committees and shall have all benefits of a member.

· Associate Member : any professional nurse who have not met the qualifications to active membership but is interested in critical care. He shall be entitled to all the benefits of a member except the right to vote and hold office.

· International : any nurse who is otherwise qualified for active membership but who resides outside the Philippines. He shall have all the privileges of an active member except the right to hold office or serve in the committee.

· Lifetime Member : a lifetime member shall be any active member who has rendered distinguished service or assistance to critical care nursing and CCNAPI, and who is elected to lifetime membership by unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. He must apply in writing, attached his resume and certificate of distinguished service or assistance to critical care nursing or CCNAPI. He/she shall have the privileges of an active member.

· Honorary Member : an honorary member shall be any person who is not eligible for membership but has rendered distinguished valuable service to critical care nursing and who is elected to honorary membership by the unanimous vote of the Board of Directors.

Process Membership
1. Fill-in the CCNAPI application form.
2. Pay the membership fee of Php200.00
3. After payment of the membership fee you will be given a membership card with your
membership number.
4. The membership fee is good for one year. 5. To maintain your active status please pay your
yearly dues.
