Also among oldest Manila hospitals is Chinese General Hospital and Medical Center found along Blumentritt Street in Sta. Cruz, Manila. It started from donations of wealthy Chinese immigrants and has been existing for 113 years now. Its School of Nursing has been famous for years and many people even from outside Manila opt to refer emergency and complicated medical cases to this hospital. It is one of the respected medical centers in the country.
